Hi everyone and welcome to Tanks Top K9s!! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Kaitlyn, the proud owner and founder of Tank’s Top K9s. I was born and raised in Northern Wisconsin in a little town called Eagle River. My fiance and I made the move to Madison when I was 18, and have just recently started laying down our roots in Lodi with our daughter and all of our 4 legged kids. (:
My best friend, and the face behind the logo, is Jaeger. He came into my life when I was 15 and started this crazy obsession with dogs that is now my life! He showed me just how much one dog can change your life forever. Since he came into my life, we have endured endless adventures together and he has taught me so much. This then sparked my interest in working in daycare/boarding which I did for 6 years.
After years of working in that kind of environment, I realized I wanted to switch gears. I wanted to help people help their dogs, help the more misunderstood dogs, and just help owners live the best life possible with their dogs. That’s where my training career began!
I completed a year of schooling through Penn Fosters Dog Obedience course where I earned my certification for obedience training. During this time I also interned for Focused Dog Training, where I got hands-on experience with hundreds of different dogs. I was lucky enough to be trained by multiple amazing trainers and went on to become a lead trainer. I have been training for almost 4 years now and have never been happier!
I’m beyond excited to be able to offer these services to the community and can’t wait to see Tank’s Top K9s family grow!
