If anyone is looking for a local dog trainer I can’t say enough good things about Kaitlyn Tank. We recently took a trip and had our 1 year old stayed in home with Kaitlyn for the week. When I tell you we have a difficult dog, I truly mean it. She is a dachshund, corgi mix and is super smart but so stubborn. She only listened when she felt like it, had some basic commands down, and outside it was like we didn’t exist. She has some deep insecurities that cause her to bark continually at everything new. I am happy to report that after we returned home she listens so much better, and we have been able to take her on off leash walks again like when she was little. She has come to better understand that when we are all sitting down to relax in the evening she should do the same. She appreciates sitting and getting pets so much more now. All around she has a much better understanding of what is expected of her. We continue to work with her on her commands to better strengthen her training and reduce her insecurities. Thanks Kaitlyn!

If anyone is looking to board or train their dogs, I highly recommend Kaitlyn Tank! I highly recommend Kaitlyn Tank! We had [our dog] with Kaitlyn for 8 days and the puppy that came home was a completely different pup! She used to drag my kids around the neighborhood when they walked her. And now a little toddler can walk her!
We had a plumber at the house today and were able to have her stay in place without jumping all over the new person. Something we couldn’t do without putting her in her kennel! I would have never been able to take her to a store.

We have been working with Tank’s Top K9s for the past year with our first Great Dane, and recently brought our new puppy Great Dane as well. Their communication has always been excellent, promptly answering all my questions and providing detailed information.
They are incredibly flexible, accommodating our schedules and specific needs without any hassle. Kaitlyn’s knowledge of dog behavior, especially giant breeds, is impressive. Both of our dogs have shown significant improvement. Our older Great Dane is a happier and better behaved, and our puppy is already making great progress. They absolutely love their time at their “second home.”

We met Kaitlyn through our dog trainer, Focused Dog Training. The things thats impress us the most about Kaitlyn are her skills and knowledge of handling and training dogs. We have a Great Dane and her expertise helps to provide continued training for him during each stay. She has confidently cared for Finn for over 7 months now, he is a big boy and she is able to handle him so well, understanding his cues and body language. Kaitlyn is also extremely prompt with communication, almost seems to respond instantly to requests. We love this so we can easily plan our time away. She also has to accommodate us each time we ask. We feel so very fortunate to have found Kaitlyn. She listens to our needs and always ensures Finny is having a good time and is well cared for, as proven by the pictures. We feel Kaitlyn has become part of our family and Finn confirms that with his love and trust for her. When Kaitlyn is here, Finn is always eager to snuggle and sit on her lap, just like he does with us. We highly recommend Kaitlyn for all your pet sitting needs.

My puppy, Sophie, spent two weeks with Kaitlyn for training. I was not familiar with this of training but a friend encouraged me to give it a shot, and I am so glad I did! What Kaitlyn taught Sophie in two weeks was amazing. Of course, the harder part was likely training me once Sophie returned home! But Kaitlyn was very helpful, patient and continues to offer support. It was hard to leave Sophie, but I could immediately see how much Kaitlyn loves animals. She sent me pictures and videos every day and I could see how happy Sophie was. It is so nice to have a dog who listens. It makes her life better too! Simply put, Kaitlyn is a natural and I am so thankful for her!

We have a 6 month old miniature golden doodle puppy. He is a good dog, but lacked manners. He was big into jumping up on people, counter tops, and excessive nipping and pulling while going on walks. We did the two week program with Kaitlyn in mid May and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our pup came back with great manners, place trained, and has been doing great on his walks. My only regret is I wish I would have done this training sooner.
